Brain Development, Behavior and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)

Early life Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) impact brain development and determine the design of a person's intelligence, emotions and personality. Positive trauma-informed teaching approaches and strategies can target learning, offer behavior support and address negative effects of ACES in real-time.

Nationwide, together, it is time to implement strategies as a standard of prevention for society’s current mental health crisis.

Survival Mode; the Longest Pandemic

Survivors of abuse, neglect, or traumatic stress face the challenge of not just surviving, but learning to truly live. This requires more energy, mental capacity, and clarity to create an enriching life rather than one focused solely on survival. By exploring healing strategies we can seek thriving instead of being stuck in a state of surviving. As humans, we are destined to more fully transform into a state of fully thriving in life and in love.

As adults, it is our responsibility to model this for the next generation. Heal and join the THRIVEolution.

The Science of Self-Care

Say goodbye to mental exhaustion of dysfunctional generational trauma and hello to optimized brain functions for healing and improved overall mental well-being for your new family legacy. Together, we can explore 6 simple trauma informed self-care strategies, based upon current Neuroscience research.

These self-care strategies (using the acronym T.H.R.I.V.E.) utilize the power of brain neuroplasticity to heal, create new patterns for healthy family connections and promote highly effective trauma informed communities including within healing families.
